Hey guys,

I just received some new plants and I'd like to grow them or QT them out of the tank at least a week. Problem is that I do not have another aquarium. Anyone have some suggestions where I can put these new plants for a week or so to make sure they don't have any snails or anything on them?

Rubbermaids, buckets, jars... any container you can fit it in and put a light over.

Okay, I was thinking that but I just wanted to make sure. It sounds crude, but with water and light I didn't think the plants would care.

You might not even need a light, just stick it on the windowsill.
