can you tell us more about your tank? have you used any osmocote root tabs? WOO PIG SOOIE!! (sorry had to add that...dont know if youre a hog fan or not)
Thats the funny thing, there is nothing on the glass whatsoever. It just seems to be suspended in the waterIs it a powder like algae on the glass that easily rubs off? If yes, increase the plants so they eat more nutrients and leave it be. I've read on several websites that if you leave it alone it disappears as it has a one month cycle. I followed that direction with my new tank and it did disappear. I also added some fast growing plants which helped too.Have fun! It's amazing what you learn as you keep playing with tanks. I tell my mom it's my biological ongoing experiment.
Thats what I was thinking too. I knew I couldnt do any water changes until the cycle finished and hopefully by doing some it might start to alleviate the water issue.Since your tank is cycling it's probably from the high ammonia levels. I would ride it out until the tank is fully cycled then worry about the green water. Large water changes will fix it quickly but only after the cycle is finished.
