Are the blades of your own line of nude and wave scissors, or the wave scissors BorneoWild that you carry plated with tungsten?

Hello Clinton Parsons. Yes, our blades are Tungsten. They should not require sharpening for at least a decade.

We also have more tools coming out in December.

Coming in next week is the first cargo of Up Aqua Aqua Soil in 9L bags. This is a very nutrient rich soil, packed with plant food and wont cloud water or leach ammonia from the very start.

I would only do so over dense substrates such as this for example. GLA Black Lava substrate.

Is this Aqua Soil pretty comparable to Fluval Stratum, particularly in regards to nutrients? I am switching from crumbling ADA AS but don't really want to go back to root tabs.

No its not. Its much better. This soil has actual nutrient content that is readily available to plants, its not a volcanic ash like Stratum. The grains are also much more robust and hold there composition over time.

The cargo has cleared customs on US soil and is on its way as we speak.

Thanks madness. Indeed long over due. We have been through the gamete when it comes to planted aquarium substrates. Up Aqua Soil is one of very few that contain available nutrient to plants. Fluval and Azoo are volcanic ash based soil that do not offer readily available nutrients for plants. This in turn allows for leaner water column dosing. Or to make the soil's nutrient content last longer you can still dose your regular fert regimen.

We have launched a completely new site to a whole new platform with much more user account flexibility. We have also decreased most of our shipping rates across the board and are still tweaking some things here and there. We should have most of the logistical work done by tomorrow/Tuesday.

We also have an entire new line of rimless aquariums coming out in January, some of which are already in the warehouse and will be loaded onto the site as soon as possible.

Some great new products have been coming out very recently. The Up Aqua Soil, the GLA substrates, the Atomic CO2 kits, etc.

I just noticed the AquaRay LED tile on the front page of the new site as well.

Would GLA Black Lava substrate work as a sort of base layer in similar fashion to what people use lava rock for or is it too small?

Also, the web site says the Atomic paintball kit is sold out. Do you expect it to be available again soon?
