hi!
my aquarium is 30 gallons running without problems for 5-6 months, densly planted with medium lighting, co2 steady fertilization and suddendly, disgusting hair algae!!!
any idea why this is happening and how to deal with this?

It could be that you don't have enough flow to distribute the Co2 effectivly around the tank (eliminating deadspots) or you don't have enough co2 period.

Green spot and green thread slowly grew on my walls (yes I had green thread on my walls, weird right) when I relieved that I didn't have enough flow.

Now that I increased the flow with a circulation pump and bought a bazooka diffuser (better than those glass ones) the green thread started to die and the Green spot stopped growing.

Another thing you can do is increase you PO4 and maybe reduce the lighting a bit.
