I have what I think is green beard algae - it was all over the glass and its all over my hardscape and on my hydrocotyle and the lower leaves of my HM.
I also have staghorn!

What is going on!

I removed all the fauna so I could crank the co2 and do excel overdose.

Does h202 do anything to green beard algae?

Green beard doesn't grow on glass.

Time to bust out details, and photos if possible.

Hydrogen peroxide should royally eff up any kind of algae, just make sure to remove any plants you don't want hurt, as it may do severe damage to them, too.

Interesting.. Well the algae thats on my rocks and hydrocotyle looks like green beard and it looks like the same stuff thats on my glass - just scraped the glass but I'll see if I can get a photo of somewhere I missed.
