Among the many plants I have in my 29 gallon tank I have some duckweed and some Amazon Frogbit. They're growing perfectly well, except for one thing...

The Frogbit has aphids! Unfortunately, the bugs are staying on top of the floating leaves, out of range for the fish in the tank.

I'm assuming there's nothing one can do to rid the plants of the aphids, so will have to live with them, (or get rid of the plants...)

You could probably just push the floaters under the water for a second. Most likely the aphids will float away unless they have a death grip on the plant. Then you get free fish food ;)
