One thing that I've seen with other people's blyxa is that it has a really nice yellow hue. Now mine is growing very well, but it is only very light green. Does anyone know what brings out the yellow in blyxa, and if it's a problem if I don't have that?

Plants of colors other then green usually need medium to high light and medium to high ferts both micro and macro and some need iron. Search the plant database on this forum or Google to find the requirements and try to match it as best as possible.

i have turned other green plants simply by more light and minimum nitrate, try this for yourself before anyone argue. some plants will still remain red in high nitrates. in my test blyxa showed red even without adding iron, water temp were around 70F, colder water also help the red.
