I was wondering if a Gold Gourami would be too mean to put with Red Eye Tetras? I have a 38 gallon tank, so I dont if thats big enough for a Gold Gourami and some Tetras. Should I just stick with a Dwarf Gourami?

Gold Gouramis are vicious. I've awakened to half eaten neons. I'm almost possitive it was the Gold. If you are going to get a gourami, I'd suggest a pearl or opaline. They are very pretty and much more dosile.

How many tetras? I used to have a gold gourami. They are neat fish, but honestly, I don't want to go back to keeping one. I couldn't house anything but schooling fish with it.
