Some folks add Glut to their fert solutions for autodosing. This means Glut makes contact with water used to make solutions.

When Glut is added to an aquarium it has a half life of 10-12hrs. Won't adding Glut to fert solutions (that contain H2O, usually distilled water) mean that it is no longer effective after 24hrs or so in contact with water, thus rendering this style of dosing ineffective?

As I recall reading just a few days ago, glut is degraded by biologic activity, not just being in water. Our tanks are full of biologically active "stuff". A similar question I have is about the useful life of chelated metals in our trace mixes. I know some of my pre-mixed liquid fertilizers have looked pretty bad by the time I reach the bottom of the bottle. I'm not sure why that happens either.
