Glosso trimming?

744 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  hybridtheoryd16
My glosso is growing vertical right now in my nano tank. I am going to trim it down but im just wondering how you do it? Do you trim half way down/ Or all the way to the substrate? Any tricks to get it to carpet better? Thanks for all the help ahead of time.:help:

you can trim it right down if you want. after a few trimmings it should start to stay low.
Ok cool thanks
I take a chop stick and bend the glosso over and push the stem just under the substrate enough to hold it over.
It will then soon send out side roots and start to carpet if there's enough light.

You can also trim it about an inch above the substrate and replant the top in 1 inch tall portions for a faster carpet.
