I dose my plants on the EI plan, yesterday I did my water change and this morning I found I have brown stems on my Glosso. I did dose my ferts today,Micros as usual 30ml plantex. This tank has been up about 1 month.
Not to mention my Madagascar Lace plant has been turning brown for a few days even the new leave is turning brown.... I try to rub the brown off but it appears it is the plant not algea....

Hmm, they seem to be starving from something.
I am not sure on this one as to what would be causing it, maybe a Boron deficiency?

Every time I asked about plant deficiencies here, most would reply "read rex's guide" and it always helped.

I had a site bookmarked that listed several plant deficiencies but I cant seem to find it. If I do, I'll post it here.

What kind of substrate are you using? And are you using pressurized co2?

Thanks for the reply, I am using Soil master and yes I am using pressurized CO2. I will look at Rex's guide again in case I missed something. Specially considering I wasn't looking for brown stems the first time I read it.
