I am planning to build an wall aquarium of this size Length 182 cm, Height 120 cm and Width 25 cm. Can I use 8 mm thick glass for it ???

Garf is one of the original aquarium sites (read their history- been there 19 years) I do not think they are going anywhere! I know they are focused on the salty side of the hobby, but they have some good, solid tank building information.
