my brother borought few giant weather loaches from the city here are the pics:

they're about 8 to 10 inches long and as big as thumb.

anybody have them this big? how do you take care of them?

Very nice loaches there! Mine got to this size after about a year of being in my tanks. You can feed them just like other loaches, algae wafers, loach pellets, shrimp pellets, they love blood worms and snails too. Check out loaches.com for more info on them.

They will take higher temps though but it shortens their lifespan. I had them in my tank that hit 85-90 over the summer. They also like to dig. They didn't dig when I had ecocomplete but now that I am using aquasoil they will completely bury themselves in it. One of them scared the crap out of me when I was trying to replant a plant and had one fly out of the substrate when I accidently touched it.
