Good Cherry shrimp water in my bookSo things progress slowly for me. I have had two 10g tanks for over
two years on one and over one year on the other without these things
but I'm gradually trying to improve things for my tanks.
Both tanks contain RCS. The one year old tank had great breeding
once I got rid of the BGA that came after a couple of months of it being
set up. But now it's slowed to very little.
For one month or a bit more I have done a 50% WC. It was 25% till I found high nitrates. I dose the "EI low light/weekly" recommended but at
a reduced rate/no CO2.
But there is no MGSO4 cause I was told not to utill I got the GH test kt to see if it is needed. But there is CASO4 because I noticed a gap in a few ofthe shrimp's shells.
So what would be an optimum GH and TDS level for RCS. I realize these are not hypersnsitive as some shrimp are. But if I don't get it at least close to right I'll never be able to keep the other shrimp.
Personally like the Cardinals.
