I'm looking for a bottom feeder that won't wreck the place. I used to have a gang of clown loaches and they seemed to delight in uprooting my arrangements. It was like they just waited for it.

Any suggestions? Would corys be the best?
Thanks.

What size tank are you looking to put them in? What tankmates? That will help determine what's best for you. Shrimp obviously can't go in with big fish that will eat them. Cories would be my choice, since they stay fairly small, aren't too aggressive, and are interesting and pretty to look at.

What about Kooley (spelling?) loaches?
I know they are substrate burrowers, But would they uproot plants?
Seems to me that they would also airate the substrate too.
