Garden Ponds Unlimited

Just thought I would share this place. I just called about crypts and information on marginal pond plants in general. The gentleman I spoke with said that he wasn't familiar with that name of a plant but they have a nursery with a lot of aquatic plants and said he had about 10 different species of the marginal plants that would work well for a terrarium/aquarium set up. If anyone has been here feel free to add some input, I am planning on dropping by this week to check it out and get a few more plants for my viv build. I also see where they are getting ready to open an aquarium section!

Just thought I would share!

I made it in and bought some plants and as i was walking through I noticed all the aquariums and asked the sales girl when they were going to have their aquarium section set up. She told me that it would be another month or so since their pond season was in full swing, and once pond sales were down they would start back up and get it up and running. I'm very excited since its only about 20 min from where I am!

Some exciting news! Today I went in to see the freshwater addition to the store (awesome!) and an employee told me that they hope in another year they will have a new, HUGE, store, 70% freshwater and 30% saltwater in the area. They have it planned and are in the financial phase. He said it would be the largest aquatic store in the state. I'm super excited that it will be so close!

I asked about them getting Ada Aquasoil or Fluval Stratum in stock, so we'll see if that's possible! They had some really great driftwood pieces and large aquariums set up. Lots of plants for sale.

I went there a few days ago with my mother. They're aquarium section has a pretty good section of Ciclids for SW tanks. For FW they had a lot of tetras, gouramis, and most of your simple fish. However, they haven't dedicated a big part of the store to aquarium fish. The selection in general pales in comparison to Wet Pets in Norman. Their pond section is obviously their big selling point and it is stocked very well.
