Garden Center Lucky Bamboo Safe?

704 1
I want to put Dracaena Sanderiana in my tank, but the plants sold at my local pet/fish stores are too short for the leaves to be able to stick out the top so it doesn't rot. I've heard of some people just ordering or purchasing this plant from garden stores are even the garden department at Wal-Mart. Is this safe for fish? Is there a way to "make" them safe after purchase? I don't want to do anything to endanger my betta of course!

Yeah they're safe. But don't expect them to last long. Although they tolerate wet feet they do much better in dirt. Just like every other Dracaena.
