On the contrary, it's very healthy....those are all offshoots from a main stem.
They just keep growing but doesn't stay low and open up like a umm...a cauliflower.
I have more than I need and was plan on throwing them in as a freebie with other stem plants I plan on selling when the time comes to trim.
I think it might be a nutrient deficiency- it looks like the leaves are stunted. I live near NYC too and the first thing that comes to mind is that we have very soft water. Do you ever add Mg or Ca to the tank?
