What exactly do these do?

Basically it's a conductivity meter that checks the Total Dissolved Solids in water and gives a reading in PPM. Also checks temp.

Good for comparing Source water to the End Product water in RO units. Check for Soft water for fish/plants/inverts that desire such. Some of our tank dwellers like lower mineral content.
