after planting it initially, it grew to about 5" high. i trimmed it to about 3" and it has yet to grow higher than that.

What is the tank like that you have the hairgrass growing in. I still have a few pieces of HG but last time I planted quite a bit most of it died.

But the tanks come a long way since then.

i'm not quite sure what you are asking by "what is the tank like?" the hairgrass has been growing in aquasoil for over a month now.
