Hi guys!
So for those of you that don't know, I had to move back home (San Diego) for some family stuff. I sold my tanks cause I didn't want to move them from CO. So I'm back in with my mom and I've gotten custody of her 300gal koi pond/water feature and my sister surprised me with a fluval spec 5gal! I'll try and post some pictures of the pond in a bit, I need help getting an ID on some of the small fish we have in there.
But here we go on the fluval!!!
I've had an interesting time finding a decent store here, but yesterday I went to Aquatic Warehouse and was pretty surprised by there stocking on everything (including pond stuff, yay!)
So I'm not gonna do any upgrades on any of the stock hardware, keep it simple. I got some spider wood and dragon stone yesterday. Here's the current FTS!!

The rock is only on the wood while it's water logging
I also couldn't resist getting a little dwarf lily, she's just hanging out in there for now

Planning on a betta and low maintenance plants, crypts, anubias, and ferns mostly.

I got plants!! And the wood is surprisingly waterlogged already!

I took the easy route and got stuff from petsmart. I got it all 50%off though so that's nice. There are so many stems in those packs, I had so many extra plants.

Sounds good. I have seen some very nice looking bettas from there though. Ended up getting one from my LFS. Cause you know..convenience.I will let you know how it goes
