I live about 100 yards from the Ohio River and went looking along the banks for driftwood today. I found some great pieces, but I also found a spot with some great plants growing as well. The top one looks like Hydrilla to me. I am not sure what the second one is. Any ideas?

Yeah, it is probably Vallisneria americana. I looked and it is a native to this area.
