It came with the plants most likely.Thanks everybody! Wonder how it got in my sump? Especially the one part of the sump that has a lid. Weird.

Fun fact- they belong to the Order Ephemeroptera (derived from the Ephemera = short lived, ptera = winged). Most adult forms live only 48-72 hrs. Once in adult form, their immediate goal is to mate. No eating, no resting, just get down to f***ing. Once done, they die, hence the massive swarms that occur when this happens. It's a giant insect orgy.Check this out over in Illinois
