I got some new plants this week and I just noticed a real tiny snail crawlin' across the glass. Is this a problem, going to be one, or no big deal?

can you handle never getting rid of them?

if not... terminate on site! or relocate into a tank you would like to have snails...

odds are it is a pond snail, asexual breeders... and once it starts... :help:

it may be one of the snails they charge money for but i doubt it...
Snails don't hurt anything, but if you have a reiliable food source for them (left over fish food, decaying leaves, etc.) they will reproduce very quickly and can be unsightly in the tank.
I like the random snails in my tank because they keep the algae at bay. When they lick the glass its so cute with their little tongue haha
snails are a nusience to get rid of, when ever i see one in my tank, i just squash it and feed it to my clown loaches. you see one :) next week you'll have tones, agree with the above poster, squash on site, unless of course its a beautiful apple snail:))
Ive been removing them and dropping them in my 75g....the loaches, geo's and uaru's are all eating them before they hit the bottom.
