i have e.tenellus (broadleaf), e.tenellus (micro leaf), and m.minuta in the forground of my 29 im tired of it i want a full carpet of one single plant.
i like the hardiness and color of the minuta but i also like the super grassy effect of the micro leaf tenellus, i think im out on the broad leaf tenellus as ive had it a while and it looks like blyxa so its not really too exclusive if you know what im saying.
what other plants will you have in your scape and your midground? If you have other 'grassy' plants or shorter midground plants minuta would contrast better with them....
in the mid ground i have some crypt wendtii (red/green), i also have some rotala macandra (im working on propigating this guy), then the rear is r.roundifolia (red), c.spiralis and c.balansae.
