Aloha All!
I have a Fluval 206, on my home tank. It works very well for me, and keep the water nice and clear.
I've been kicking around the idea of upgrading my 10 gallon work tank to something bigger, maybe a bow front. The upgraded tank would benefit from a more powerful filter than I'm currently running on the work tank.
I was thinking this would be a great way to upgrade my home tank's filter to maybe switching in a 306, and using the 206 for the work tank. See what I'm doing here... :icon_smil
So the question: is the tubing really all the same between the 206 and 306? Could I just 'hot swap' the filters or do I need to redo my hosing?
Bonus question: 306 owners what are the dimensions of the 306? The space the 206 currently lives is kind of tight, I need to make sure that a 306 would fit.
