Hello,
I was interested in upgrading the light on my Fluval Spec V to a Fluval Plant 3.0 light (nano or 15-24").

Has anyone done this before or would the light be too strong?

I was hoping someone could show me how they mounted it on the tank. I use the cover over my tank to help prevent jumpers so I don't think the 15-24" light can rest on the rimless edge. I am also not sure if the nano light will have enough spread to cover the whole tank since the Spec V is long and not a cube.

Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Thanks

I own these lights but have never put one on a Spec tank. I can tell you that you can set any light intensity and coloration you want in Pro mode though, so the light being powerful isn't an issue.
