I'm a week past due on trimming the stauro. I keep it high, but I trim about once a month. Here is the culprit of the near miss undergoing repairs, no more aquarium duty for it.Great looking tank. I'm glad you were able to prevent the disaster in time!
How often do you have to trim that foreground?

Was all the plumbing direct fit to the new pump?The growth has really taken off since the last update. I added an inline CO2 atomizer to better distribute CO2 and took a razor to the black mesh that was on the top portion of the tank. Also upgraded was changing the stock pump to an Eheim Compact 600.
