Great looking tank. I'm glad you were able to prevent the disaster in time!
How often do you have to trim that foreground?

I'm a week past due on trimming the stauro. I keep it high, but I trim about once a month. Here is the culprit of the near miss undergoing repairs, no more aquarium duty for it.

The growth has really taken off since the last update. I added an inline CO2 atomizer to better distribute CO2 and took a razor to the black mesh that was on the top portion of the tank. Also upgraded was changing the stock pump to an Eheim Compact 600.
Was all the plumbing direct fit to the new pump?

That's a beautiful tank. I love your forest of anumbias with the buce centerpiece. I just got a Flex 15gal with the stand and am inspired with what you've done with yours.

Thank you for the compliment. The tank is pretty interesting, much more so with the stand that goes with it.

Here is some fresh Buce Brownie Ghost 2011 growth. Beautiful plant. My pictures do not do it justice.
