I'm looking to buy a Fluval Edge 12 gallon.I have a small oak media cabinet 12" x w4" with swing in doors. The top is solid oak, but due to the swing in doors there is a gap that is braced by 1" x 1" x 6" wood braces. Otherwise the other 6 inches of the top is firmly attached to the side well. I believe this will support the aquarium, but I amopen to input. I have looked for stands as well, but I cannot find one that appears to be good quality. Any suggestions?
