Fluval CO2 kit 88g

I am planning to purchase a Fluval CO2 kit 88g
http://www.petsathome.com/webapp/wc...al-mini-pressurized-co2-kit-20g-(online-only)
for some other applications.

I am curious to know, if the regulator attached in this kit, can really regulator the pressure, lets say, make it down to 300psi or less?

I wouldn't use this for anything bigger then a 20g tank

It does regulate the pressure, but to a fixed level. The adjuster on it is a needle valve.
I have one that I refitt to use paintball cylinders on a 55 with an inline reactor, and without the backpressure from the diffuser, that needle valve ends up being touchy.

Out of curiosity, what do you have in mind for it?
