Fluval 5.5g

Thought I would share my 5.5g planted tank.

Purchased December of 2015. Had it planted and running January of 2016. You will see a picture of the original planting vs a recent photo.

I have tried a few different types of fish but couldnt find anything that would stay happy in that size. So i have recently decided to just go with a betta and 10 blood red shrimp (which i have just found 5 babies in the moss). Betta and shrimp have been getting long wonderfully, lucky me.

I did not upgrade the light, no CO2, no dosing of fertilizers.

I do a 10% WC every sunday, lights run from 4pm - 11pm.

Very very little algae, in fact i havent cleaned the glass in over 2 months.

Great little tank, i am very happy with it.
