Yes to both questions. There is a flourite black sand. Do a search for it and you will find several threads that speak about it.

Gonna piggyback this with my own flourite question. Is flourite black uniformly black? I'm under the impression eco complete is not.

you can buy a bag of just black flourite rather than the mixed bags
