If you dose Flourish in your shrimp tanks, please share your experience. (full or half dosage, any ill effects etc). I dose excel 25% dosage maybe twice a week and although shrimps don't seem to care, plants don't either :angryfire Thought about trying Flourish as well, currently dosing 25% and see what happens.

I usually do 3/4ths of a dose. Never had any deaths.

How is the breeding activity and what shrimps you have in the dosed tank(s)? I have started dosing 25%, not sure it's because of the dosage, some shrimps acted crazy right after, but it could be due to the newly molted female in that tank. I'll keep doing this 25% and see what happens.
I have been dosing Excel daily in my fish + shrimp (neos) tank at 150% the recommended dose, and have had no fatalities, and plenty of breeding, even with fish predation. I use an eye dropper to deliver the excel, right next to a big water wisteria that all my shrimp like to hang out in, and they don't react at all. I also dose Flourish comprehensive, once a week at the recommended dose, with no issues.

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I'll increase the dosage and see what happens and if my moss grows better.
Does it raise TDS or gH?
In theory at least Flourish comprehensive should, but it's not like you dose enough to make a real difference. Plus plants use them so the increased TDS would diminish anyways.
