Floating Plants

I'm trying to find a floating plant that will do okay in my shrimp tank, it has a sponge filter so it has surface agitation and my DWL gets water on the leaves and doesn't like it.
I have Frogbit, and RRF and neither of them do well in the shrimp tank either.

I was curious if Salvinia Minima would fair any better? can the leaves get wet?

I might end up making a airline tubing circle around the sponge filter riser tube if that is my only option.

make the log boom effect around filter or plants,
get some polypropolene cord (permantly floats used for life preserver line)and $ store suction cups, tie cord to cups & make barrier as you like.
I would boom the plants over booming the filter.
If plants get over twist cord together to make it float higher.

I run Salvinia Minima in my shrimp tank with a sponge filter. It pretty much doesn't care what I do to it.
I would maybe consider cetarophyllum (hornwort) or water lettuce.
