I'm looking to buy some floating plants for my 75. I just lost my brand new Electric Blue Acara male to jumping. :(

I do not want duckweed or anything similar. It does FAR too well in my tanks.

Will need heat packs because I am in Northern Wisconsin.

Thanks.

Thanks. It has a lid but one of the glass panes is broken/missing. I'm trying to find another one, but want floating plants as well as extra security.

Hey there,..
I have had some success with frogbit. It has worked well with low tech tanks.

Frogbit is high on my list. I like that the leaves are bigger. The duckweed was EVERYWHERE and stuck to EVERYTHING because it was so tiny.

I have Amazon frogbit in a couple of my tanks - also red root floaters and dwarf water lettuce. They all grow really fast and I throw away handfuls each week. I wouldn't mind shipping you some but I have never shipped with a heat pack. I've mailed zip lock bags and paper towels over warmer months...

What kind of heat packs do you guys use to ship fish/plants?
