I found this thing floating in one of my tanks after I had added some new plants. At first it was just a few pieces that looked like the last pic. I let it grow out for a while, a month if not two. It turned into this big green pillow, it looks kinda cool. I'm not sure if it's a plant, or maybe some odd type of algae, or what? Let me know what you think, thx all.

Riccia fluitans, a liverwort, it is a plant, it never grows roots. I love letting it float and turn into a nice mass.

This is my new favorite moss/liverwort. It looks awesome tied to the tops of rocks.
