floater for tank with strong current

I need floaters to help dissipate light on my tank but the high flow seems to be killing any frogbit I put in there. Any suggestion on something that will hold up to a strong current?

how bout salvinia auriculata i had that in a medium to high flow tank once
a long string of salvinia will tend to group up in a corner in a tank with lots of surface aggitation but single plants get upset easily and brown if turned upside down..
ye they do tend to group up a bit
I have anachris as a floater in a cold high current goldfish tank and it's doing okay (3 weeks).

Also water wisteria has been holding its own in the same tank (1 month).
Try one of the stems that likes to float instead of a real floating plant. Pennywort, Najas and hornwort come to mind.
i used wisteria for awhile but it gets ugly after it floats for awhile.. I'm going to be trying some large duckweed and water lettuce soon. See if that's any better
Duck weed will be succcchhh a mess!

Iawtc.

Unless you have goldfish in which case duckweed will be dinner. And lunch and breakfast.
Try Hygroryza aristata if you can find it.

I think it just grows the length of the tank. The one she gave me is slowly growing in a sea of duckweed.
I want one now XD grow some for me for the next meet up :D
It was fun seeing her introduce the air pockets they have to stay afloat. really interesting plant

It looks like floating husks of corn.
