Fixing bottom rim

I have a 45 gallon that the bottom rim has broken, its still attached to the rest of the rim, it just snapped I guess you could say. It is like someone started to de-rim the bottom of the tank and stopped right after getting the first part of the rim to snap. So my question is can I just superglue, or silicone, this back onto the tank?

in my experience you can silicone ANYTHING back together.

I use to build tanks with nothing other than silicone and glass...learned how amazing this simple substance is!
