I received a nice looking batch of fissidens fontanus from a TPT member and placed it into two tanks. One tank has medium to higher light without fertsand pH of 7.0 and the other has higher light with CO2 and EI dosing. Both batches turned yellowish within a day or two and it does not look to me like they will survive. The delivery was Priority Mail with maybe 3-4 day delivery; this should not be happening.

Can you offer any theories?

How are your temps? If it froze I'm sure it's beyond saving. I just got mine a few days ago and it seems to be doing well.

Hmmm, good point. If it froze en route I would have thought it would be all wilted when it arrived and it looked great. Still, that might be it.

they may come back. surprised that the high light c02 isnt doing better.
