I have pressurized co2 going into my tank. I have CRS, Amano's, ottocinclus. I have a sponge filter now, but when I had HOB filter, the fish and shrimp would pass out, and some died. I'm wondering if a ph swing of 1.2, from 6.2-7.4 at night when co2 is off, could be the cause

Hello,

I suggest to stop the CO2 immediately. Wait a while, check the fishes, parameters.

Maybe wait a couple of days, when everything looks to have returned under control, start again injecting CO2 sssllloooowwwly. When you change the injection, stay there, watch any bad signs in the fishes, proceed slowly from maybe 1 bulb/2 seconds to the point you want within safe range for fishes. The shrimps are usually the first to feel bad if there is too much CO2 or not enough O2.

Michel.
