Iv never had a problem with dwarf flame gouramis in the past hunting down CPD. But they seem to have changed there mind this week any body else had this issue. The fish are housed in a 75 gallon heavily planted tank. I don't want to get rid of gouramis but I may have to. Any body have a suggestion.

I did not realize they could be predatory.
I sure know they are territorial, but this is usually directed toward other Anabantoids that want to share the surface area.
Occasionally I have heard about Dwarf Gouramis being so aggressive they need to be kept in a separate container, like a Betta. I do not know if the aggression being reported was territorial or predatory behavior. Separating the Gourami stopped the problem.

All it takes is one fish to give a shrimp a test nibble and realize WOW THIS TASTES GOOOD... and all the rest follow-the-leader!

There's a reason shrimp are some of the best bait when fishing LOL
