Could it be a Siamese Algae Eater or a False Siamese Algae Eater.

False Siamese Algae Eater

Siamese Algae Eater

Im leaning towards it being a Siamese Algae Eater, who get sold as flyig foxes all the time, mainly because the stripe seems to go down into the tail.
Looks like a Sparkling Gourami:

That had slipped my mind when searching. Thats a good possibility :)
really? well it kinda looks like a miniature version of a gourami with the two small thin feelers extended from ventral fin....=)

what is their diet? i tried giving it smashed fish pellets but it doesnt seem interested! :(
When I kewpt Sparkling Gouramis they seemed to like New Life Spectrum Small Fish pellets. Mine were extremely passive feeders so I had to make an effort to see that they actually got food to eat.
Really doesn't look like a SAE, flying fox, or CAE. Something else?
It's really cute whatever it is.
Trichopsis pumila
Sparkling Gourami, Pygmy Gourami
Definitely a Sparkling/Pygmy Gourami.

hehe...i am surprised too that i bought myself sparkling gourmis! =):bounce:
if you dont find them in your LFS, you could def order them from DrFosterSmith
