I bought this fish today from a fish store I don't really trust, they told me these are black and white danios ...

I know the picture is blurry but any help anyone?

they look like penguin tetras.

They aren't, they have colored up a bit but they also have a gold line down them. They are doing well in the cool water as well as they are in an unheated tank.

They look like Danio jaintianensis, but different...

Good call. Very similar to danios.

That's them thank you!!! They know nothing at that store and I bought them not really thinking they were danios, their fin placement seemed weird for a danio.
Well now reading about them I see they are not the correct fish to add to a tank that's just establishing itself but hopefully they'll be ok, the more I watch them the more I like them.
