Ok, I had to post this, as I have never seen it asked about, nor have I been able to find anything about it using the search.
In my planted tank, mild to heavy planted, I have DIY co2. I used to have the bubbles go straight into the intake tube of the filter, but recent re-arranging of the plants, caused a movement of the glass diffuser.
When I got everything settled back down, I noticed that some of the micro bubbles make it all the way up to the top of the water. When enough of those mirco-bubbles form at the top, I noticed my black molly goes over and chomps on them!
Should I be concerned? I've never heard of fish eating co2 like that! I have strange fish!
