I always wondered about this and now the time has come..

whilst my sister is away her minnow bowl is being kept in my room. It's no problem looking after it as i have a 20 gallon and a 10 gallon as most of you will know but when im cranking my tunes up really loud, will this affect the fish?

Hope not! It may be too late!

Don't think its a plroblem unless its realy loud and the bass is way up, then it might spook them.

I asked this same question a few months ago. It seems the consensus of opinion is that noise does not affect the fish, and some seem to even like the noise. One poster recounts an experience where a House DJ has tanks of discus that start breeding like crazy when he practices spinning at home.
