This is my 10 gallon Betta tank! It's changed a lot since putting it together and have a few questions about lighting. This is the only real struggle for me because I hear so many philosophies and ways to successfully manage a planted tank. I have the solar flare 20, which is 9.5 watts. 6700k. 460nm. I also, have two additional leds from my topfin starter kit. I know they are crap and probably more for aesthetic, but figure they have a couple watts to throw in as well.

I am going for low light plants anyways, so I was wondering is the led set up going to promote plant growth?

Any words of wisdom are welcomed! I shelled out a good some for this solarflare hood and lights so i'm hoping it works beautifully.

Looks nice! Not sure about the lighting but it seems to be enough for low light plants. I also have a low tech 36g tank and it's real easy to find the right balance cause things move so slow lol!

Btw what is the plant in the center under the bamboo? Xmas moss?

It's basically all changed around, that crypto grass is still in there. Removed the fake bonsai tree and still have a fake silk plant. He really loves to rest on it, so I can't quite go all natural. Little bugger. Still would like to know about the leds! Anyone out there who is familiar even with solarflares!
