Hi!
So I have cycled my tank and had 2 cherry shrimps living happily for a short while now.
I thought I would share a pic, as I purchased 4 more today and 2 of them are totally clear...

Are these guys just juveniles or are they male?
I'm just starting out so any help would be awesome

They did, but I brought them from a pet store as I couldn't get a hold of any from a breeder. So chances are the store didn't know what they sold me...
But they were listed as cherries

Thanks!
I will keep an eye on them, in the 24 hours I have had them they have gotten tiny red stripes along their backs.
So it's still a mystery to me!
But they are lovely either way :)

yeah that looks like a low grade male cherry. Either way you should be fine for breeding since you have a limited choice. On the plus side most LFS tend to only carry females because they color up better so you might have got lucky and found a few males.
