Yes. Alternatively, you can use pipe compound.
The 100S appears to be a flow valve, and not a proper needle/metering valve that is suitable for the low flow applications we require.
First regulator build! Help, advice, etc.
I purchased my first regulator and it arrived today!
It's a Matheson 8-590. I was able to remove the inlet and outlet fittings. Few questions:
1. Should I use Teflon tape on the new fittings to the regulator?
2. It came with what looks like a needle valve. Anybody heard of a Matheson 100s?
This thing is a lot bigger and heavier than I imagined!
