Finnex ray 2

Hi,

I just swapped out a 2 CFL 65w light for a finnex ray 2 on my 29 gallon (30" long, 18" deep) planted tank. The intensity of the light looks about the same, but as others have noted, the fish look a little wan. I see marineland sells a supplemental red LED 17" light. Would that help? Is adding it a good idea?

I use co2 & have a mix of pretty ordinary plants, none of them need tons of light.
