Hi Im Using Finnex 24/7 on a 20 long 30x12

Growing dwarf baby tears. Using only the 7000k whites on a timer. I noticed MAX is much brighter and better looking but Im guessing max is the whites blues red and green? Is this bad for plants and cause algae and should I just stick to the whites?

The colors don't do much for PAR, you might as well use them if you like the visual effect. You might have a ton of light on a 20 long though.

why would it?

Algae's not some sort of crazy boogieman.

If you provide the optimal environment to grow happy aquatic plants, you're probably going to grow algae, too. Hopefully you have enough healthy plant mass that they can help limit the amount of algae that grows.
